ProLegal is seeking a creative, motivated, and social media-savvy Social Media Assistant to join our team in Glendale, California. This full-time position involves filming and editing engaging video content, creating social media graphics, researching trends, managing multiple law firm accounts, and supporting daily social media operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with attorneys and staff, has strong video editing and design skills, stays current with social media trends, and can bring creative ideas to life while following brand guidelines. Location: Glendale, CA | Full-Time: 40 hours/week | Pay: $18.27/hour

Social Media Assistant (Local Hire)
Location: Glendale, California
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $18.27/hour

What you'll do:

  • Travel to our partner law firms to film video content with attorneys and staff
  • Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) following the Social Media Coordinator’s direction
  • Research and execute social media trends, adapting them to fit each law firm's brand
  • Create graphics for posts, stories, and campaigns
  • Schedule and publish content across multiple law firm accounts
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
  • Track basic performance metrics and report back
  • Support the Social Media Coordinator with other day-to-day social media tasks

What we're looking for:

  • A portfolio of social content you've created
  • Examples of content you've created along with its results (views, reach, engagement, follower growth)
  • Strong knowledge of current social media trends, sounds, and formats
  • Comfort filming with a phone or camera and directing people on camera
  • Editing skills (CapCut, Edits, Premiere, or similar) and design skills (Canva or Adobe)
  • Ability to take direction and turn feedback around quickly
  • Professional communication with attorneys and law firm staff
  • Travel may be required
